Continuation from the ties that started last week. Gunners need to turn around their scoreline. Liverpool can field a more under strength team for the visit of Sparta.
Barca – Napoli should be interesting. Hope Rangers get past. But too much of an ask from Brighton to turn around their tie.

It’s the way he starts laughing expecting everyone else to laugh with him and they all just look embarrassed for him. Punditry needs a real overhaul and, as you suggest Mikus, to move away from this desire for the viral clip with silly soundbites which can be shared on different platforms.

Not had a chance to post from being unwell at the mo and long hours, but must say a Big Congrats to Arsenal; really wicked 🙂 Lol thought of Wenger first thing.
It was a great moment as a Football Supporter. And a Tottenham Fan had rung up Talksport to express his own praise for the Gunners (no he’s not gone barmey lol).
We just sometimes appreciate a moment of triumph. Raya really was a Hero Y’day.

That CBS coverage is dreadful. It’s just Carragher and Richards constantly going ohhhhhh, ahhhhhhhh wooooooo all the time. It’s embarrassing when they interview a player too. They are not your mates lads, be professional. Supposed its aimed at the American audience not us but can’t imagine the Americans enjoying the banterfication of “soccer”.

I got to see goal number 6 when I eventually got home from work, but boy am I proud.
We could have taken a more easier option in just rolling out players not including any seniors and sort of shut up shop, but instead, Klopp ensures the Fans get their value of their entrance fee.
Not only so the senior players get a run out and match practice, but yet more underpinning of our youngsters that are laying the foundations of our future.
Whoever will inherit this squad will have arrived at an exciting time.
Bring on the draw for the next phase 🙂

Stelling is doing well on Talksport. Brazil. Fans are used to the senior figures of broadcasting and certain types of presenters, commentators and pundits being ex players.
What I used to see growing up (which is ancient history!) to now, what we do have to largely factor in is the audience reached and captured. This being online.
Sky for example will extract certain footage and then create a headline to draw in views. Whether or not professional and more comical, if it generates ‘hits’, then these antics from Carra, Richards etc will continue. Sometimes, they are like big kids, but I guess that’s what Football can do at times to each and every one of us 🙂

This upcoming round is probably going to be the first one I’ll be bothered about. I can’t help but think the CL has been pretty boring this season so far. Nothing to do with my own team being out. I just haven’t found it particularly entertaining. If there’s a PL match on at the same time, I’ll usually opt for that.
