He’s bloody fantastic! I read somewhere (was it teamtalk? I’m not sure) that Spurs rate him at 60 million euros. In the market of today that’s a steal, if it’s true. He’s the best player we’ve had since the Laudrups, and I get why Barcelona and Juventus are reported interested.
When Spurs bought him I had my doubts if he could cut it in the PL. He’s not exactly the most physical of players. But he’s talented and disciplined. And that’s just a pretty good combination.

I don’t watch Spurs much, but for Denmark, he’s simply our most important player by a wide margin. What he did to Ireland was one step away from actual rape.

Spurs fans: Who is more important? Eriksen or Kane? I think popular opinion would say Kane, but I think you could put a cas eforward for Eriksen, if I’m honest and trying not to be too biased.

srd79-Only 60m? He is worth @ least bloody twice that! But when it comes to the Denmark players,Eriksen is not even close to the Lord Bendtner,right?

srd79-If I was in charge of say…Bayern Munich,I would sacrifice Robben,Ribbery,and D.Costa for Eriksen.If I was in charge of Juve,Marchisio,Quadrado,D.Costa/Khedira,Sturaro,and loads of £££ for Eriksen.

Mav, I find it hard to believe 60 will be enough – and Bendtner!! I can’t stand him! What a waste of space! The perfect example of someone pissing his talent away. Pink boots, pants down, humping a taxi, the Paddy Power incident, drunk driving… He is just a worldclass twat. He couldn’t put a stick in a turd without ruining both. I’m sure he has Swedish ancestors. Possibly from Malmö.

He’s a very good player, might have been worth £60m last summer but the market has changed considerably since then. 60m then is now 80-90m plus.

Christensen is a very good player and worth a lot more than £60m imo.

2 years left on his contract and Spurs won’t want to lose him.  They may have to start offering higher wages to their top players and Spurs need to start winning trophies too to keep them all happy despite the classy Stadium taking shape.
