As it’s a slow news day, here’s on to get you all going…

Personally, I think both Emoji-man, Wee Erik, TAA and that Mathais De Light are a bit higher than perhaps they should be, and Sonny is a bit lower than he should be… but that’s just me!

And here’s one to get the LiberoOol’s juices flowing, how can a defense that’s kept less clean sheets this season than Foxy Ladies, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, West Ham, and the same number as Brighton, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Watford, have four of it’s five players in the Top 23?? 🙂

Chucky you’re right, Palace, Sheff Utd amd Burnley should definitely have some of their defenders in the top 23 also, as clean sheets is clearly the only logical way to measure defensive quality.

              I sense sarcasm!!! 🙂

Maybe I’m “old-school” but defenders defend, that’s why they’re called defenders!!

The vast majority of Liverpools attacks come down the flanks with their fullbacks. If we had old school defending fullbacks we wouldn’t be in the position we are, or we would need an entirely different midfield and tactic. The reason why Robertson and TAA are high in the list because they are bloody good at what they do and the people who compiled the list have seen beyond the old fashioned idea of a fullback.
