Certain playing positions the board have tried address with replacement signings haven’t quite worked for us. This has compounded with the timing of multiple departures, and effectively a Transitional movement for us.
With that in mind, Araujo and Jacquet have given off good first impressions, so Frimpong and Kerkez really do need to work on their own game to improve.
I still think we’re short in Midfield both Defensive and Central, then a small matter of layering the squad depth so we actually have players when rotated that have the quality to come on and be able to perform.
We’ve exhausted ourselves as much as we could as far as this Transfer Window goes. The Focus is now on coaching the players on the Training Ground and get them playing to their optimum on Matchday.
