It’s not that they didn’t spend money for the midfield but it’s that the signings made have no sane rationale behind it especially the Tielemans deal … For Santos i was of the opinion that with enough game time he will come good but there’s no way he starts ahead of Mainoo or Baleba when fit; so why spend 50M on him??
I think it’s Rashford and Dorgu for the left wing, Cunha and Sesko for No.9, Mbeumo and Amad for right flank.
As for Fullbacks there’s no need because all options offer nothing going forward and are defensively inept. Heck even Yoro as a RB seems to offer more than both Dalot and Mazraoui
