You have to laugh or else you’d cry when you hear that the clueless cunts actually think that they’ve had a good window, and in particular sorted the midfield out for the foreseeable. They are patting themselves on the back for ‘stealing’ Tielemans away from Villa for ‘just’ 35 mill, but when you take into account that they’ve given a 5 year contract at 200k per week to a guy who will be 30 years old before the end of the season then you realise that they’ve learnt absolutely fuck all from the mistakes of the past.
The signings of Santos and Baleba are also no more than speculative punts, and are just as likely go tits up than they are to be good buys, so it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if at least one of them flops badly and needs replacing by the time we get to next summer when we will need to be bringing in an entire new defence, deary fucking me.
