Or possibly not. I think we are done in this window. How we have know about the right wing situation since March and not done anything defies belief. I am sure we have one or two top targets in mind who weren’t available (looking at you Olise and Rayan) but you’d think someone would have done, maybe hence the desperate scatter gun approach the last few days.
Right back is also much needed and our best RB is actually our best CM who doesn’t actually fit into our midfield.
I said a long time ago that Hughes and Edwards short term futures at the club would cause issues for this window but I think this has exceeded those concerns, especially if reports are true that Hughes has been working in parallel for Al-Hilal this window before his imminent move.
I might be wrong but I think Barcola took the last non HG spot so those calling for Camara or whoever we can’t register them unless we sell someone and that looks unlikely.
