Rob just like I don´t believe all those rumors about incoming players, I do not believe the rumors about our outgoing players. We have zero footballing reasons to sell Gakpo, in fact we will make our squad way worse by selling him. The interest in him will remain next January, next summer cause he is capable player in his own right. He is also a different kind of player to anyone we got right now, like I can see him coming on when nothing works for the first team and popping up with the odd goal or assist. We could play close to 60 games this season if all goes right. Why sell him when he is under a long term contract? He is a good professional player and respect him for the bounce in form he is having right now, it was tough season for him, tough world cup. Horrible news during the world cup and here he is scoring for us. If he actually wants to move to just start again with his fiance or wife in a new environment after the news this summer I would not begrudge him the move but he would not move out of his house if he transferred to City. I could see a move to London to start a new life or abroad. Like I bet he would make a good player for Atletico Madrid. I just don´t see a footballing reason to sell him!
