Whilst he fucked up for their goal at the end I thought Martinez was good yesterday. He brings a calmness to the defence and the other players feel more confident when he’s in the team. They also flashed up a stat at the beginning of the game that showed our win percentage when he plays vs when he doesn’t – it didn’t make for good reading!
I think he’s our most import defender and his fitness probably dictates our season in terms of finishing in the top 5.
