Well, what can I say… a much better performance than against Brentford the week before, and should have had a lead at HT… and we’re looking favourites to score first until the Bone Saw Boyz got a lucky bounce on a breakaway with what I think was their 2nd shot on target all game… then the heads dropped…
Still not quite the 1st 11, not sure what he was doing playing Grey at RB and giving Porro a more advanced role… not a formation I would expect to see too often as the season progress… I think Tel has shot himself in the foot (or tried to, probably missed!) with very average performances so far this season.
And, to be honest, Fernandes looks good, but both Tonali and Van Heckke are starting to look like a “what a waste of money” signings… not sure about Robertson either…
Hopefully, next game, Porro and Undogie will be starting we’re they’re supposed to start, I’d give Tonali another go with Bentancur, Frenandes playing the #10 role… and N-Dauiye, Marmoush, and Savio up top…
But last day of the transfer window… lets see what other surprises are happening, suspect a bit more comings and especially goings at the Lane…
