If Koumas and Nyoni now deemed as squad/fringe players it makes sense that they replace squad/fringe players. Elliot didn’t play for us last season so his minutes are easily replaced by Koumas, whilst Nyoni has shown in preseason he’s ready for a more active squad role. I certainly wouldn’t want the club to actively replace then in the transfer window.
