Players evidently are likely to be lured. I would suspect this largely down to of course bling and the ‘advice’ but more suspectedly persuasion from their agents.
I was more pleased with players sticking it out in the Premier finding other clubs and reinventing their Careers. Look at Wellbeck and Henderson for example.
I will lay my cards on the table of the types I prefer and that’s a mixture of experience and players that don’t cost us the earth, but we can make them into Stars.
Injuries and lots of other things have hampered us, but I think under Iraola, we will be on the right path.
