One thing I like about Kounde (or any FB that can play CB too) is it give Iraola the option of having the RB invert to CB creating a back 3, thus perhaps negating the need for a dedicated DM or sitting no6.
He’s a very good player but apparently didn’t have the greatest season last. Having said that his value is still fairly high and as Ginger said Barcelona are in mountains of debt so might need to sell some high value but replacable assests and he lands on that list. He has recently expressed a desire to stay at Barcelona but what actual weight that holds remains to be seen if we or another top club become serious.
