I´ve told you precisely how I think he will do this season in terms of game time except I left out the cups. You are copy pasting? Why don´t you just answer back in return how many minutes or starts you think he will get?

28th July 2026 at 7:34 pm #251583It´s not hard to wake up and decide not to be asshole every day. I don´t even understand why you are upset or arguing but thanks for the attention, it has made my day ;D I hope your day will be lovely mate. Maybe I should send you that pint of Guinness just to brighten your mood mate.

28th July 2026 at 7:38 pm #251584you are upset because I said a game per week in the broad spectrum of multiple games per week, up to 3 games a week. If you are a recovering alcoholic do not have that Guinness, otherwise have one and take a shot of Fernet Branca. Then have a cigarette and relax, nobody here is here to argue with you mate. Nobody is here to argue with me, except maybe you right now hence the recommendation.

28th July 2026 at 7:48 pm #251586you are pretty smart when it comes to football actually but this uncanny ability of yours to go personal instead of football. Copy paste pedantic shit, I do not understand it, you don´t try to prove your point. That is probably the difference between us, since you turned personal and trying to prove some personal point. You just try to prove other wrongs about any little pedantic little shit that provokes you.
We´ve know each other in some form for I don´t know how many years, it´s always the same problem for you, you have to prove some little shit that does not matter in some way.
Like when I define right now what I meant by that statement, you just copy paste that original statement trying to prove a point. You don´t dare to tell anyone how many minutes anyone gets, you don´t dare to call anything out, you can´t claim how many points this club will get next season, you don´t dare calling out a transfer before it happens, you don´t dare to do anything cause you can´t be wrong. It reminds me of chicken, a headless chicken, cause at least a rooster has some courage.

28th July 2026 at 8:34 pm #251590I am 100% certain I have been wrong. I thought Rhian Brewster was going to be the next big thing!
Fans do love to see a youngster make it big, maybe even more so at clubs where they actually have youngsters that went on the be legends, us and Utd. But I dont see it helping the lad. Let the coaching team develop him as they see fit, giving the minutes to progessive his development but not lead to an abrupt end in a few years as he’s knackered.
As I said, in my eyes he has a lot to work on before being good enough to cement his first team status. He will play more this season which is a natural progression, and he will be a good player at least, but lets give him time eh?

28th July 2026 at 9:21 pm #251593John Stones so it seems moving to Inter. What exacerbates this more is our rival clubs showing an interest.
I know it’s a free country and all that and they can strengthen even more as they wish, but I feel we are on our knees and if anything, need desperately in my view these type of more experienced heads on the pitch being able to bring resilience and leadership.

28th July 2026 at 10:35 pm #251598He would ruin his legacy over there by joining us, it´s a good move for him. I know he would have been perfect but we don´t generally snoop around freebies like that.

29th July 2026 at 6:36 am #251599Bayern CEO has ruled out selling Diaz so you’d think that means they won’t sign Gakpo. Spurs, Newcastle and RBL still linked but nothing concrete at the moment.
For defence the names going around are Konsa and Kounde. As I suggested a week ago or so it would make perfect sense if we could buy a player that can cover both CB and RB, what I didn’t know was Konsa can play RB. Konsa is obviously HG and only 2 years left on his contract whilst Kounde’s contract is up in 2030 so you’d think would be the more expensive player.
Think Kounde is the better player and more adapt at RB which is the more problematic area. Bayern and Spurs sniffing around also.
Stones might have been a good option but I’m guessing high wage demands and poor fitness issues would put us off. Still he probably wouldn’t need to move house!

29th July 2026 at 7:35 am #251600Fowler’s completely right here:
Robbie Fowler implores Liverpool to address one big ‘problem’ which ‘has a real knock-on effect’
Down to years of mis-management and not through properly on layering up properly on squad depth. We look depleted. I’m personally losing confidence on Isak and Wirtz.
We need let’s face it a new Mane and Salah.

29th July 2026 at 7:51 am #251602Ill judge no one on last season under slot. Everyone starts afresh now under a new manager with a new plan
Last season everyonr bar a few were absolutely no were near their standard. It was the managers tactics killing us
Im looking forward to seeing writz with genuine pace ahead of him. We created absolutely feck all for isak last season.
My concern is were our balls into the box from wide come from. Isak needs service. Batcola, rio are not going to be whipping balls in. Kerkes maybe now he is being utilised correctky. Szobo when he he drifts out wide can cross a ball.
Writz supplyong through the middke. Isak movement is exceptional. Get him and writz firing and it would be hugely exciting

29th July 2026 at 7:56 am #251603You know threeps im not really againeat gakpo staying. As you and others have pointed out, his stats were excellent when we won league. He had a good wc.might be interesting to see him under a new manager. If he leaves and helps us buy other players great but if he stays he can contribute but it leaves us stacked on the left. Hes had a horrendous time recently, him and his family
He can play 9 but it has really never worked.

29th July 2026 at 9:24 am #251610Yes noticed that Sean.
Think he’s ready for that step up.
Be interesting to see how he does if he does go.
I think we have higher priorities at the min.
If we do spend circa £120mil on Barcola that will be £165mil spent this window alone on mainly left sided attackers.
You would think it was the left hand side that had the gap.

29th July 2026 at 9:28 am #251611The Konsa link is to do with the fact he can play right back AND centre back.
Being home grown helps. His age shouldnt be a massive issue as it means he doesnt impede the pathways of Jacquet/Leoni.
His price might be an issue though.
Prefer Kounde myself for the defender that can play both roles.
Barca are in serious financial diffs but keep ignoring the issue.

29th July 2026 at 9:48 am #251613One thing I like about Kounde (or any FB that can play CB too) is it give Iraola the option of having the RB invert to CB creating a back 3, thus perhaps negating the need for a dedicated DM or sitting no6.
He’s a very good player but apparently didn’t have the greatest season last. Having said that his value is still fairly high and as Ginger said Barcelona are in mountains of debt so might need to sell some high value but replacable assests and he lands on that list. He has recently expressed a desire to stay at Barcelona but what actual weight that holds remains to be seen if we or another top club become serious.
