Bayern CEO has ruled out selling Diaz so you’d think that means they won’t sign Gakpo. Spurs, Newcastle and RBL still linked but nothing concrete at the moment.
For defence the names going around are Konsa and Kounde. As I suggested a week ago or so it would make perfect sense if we could buy a player that can cover both CB and RB, what I didn’t know was Konsa can play RB. Konsa is obviously HG and only 2 years left on his contract whilst Kounde’s contract is up in 2030 so you’d think would be the more expensive player.
Think Kounde is the better player and more adapt at RB which is the more problematic area. Bayern and Spurs sniffing around also.
Stones might have been a good option but I’m guessing high wage demands and poor fitness issues would put us off. Still he probably wouldn’t need to move house!
