I´m pretty certain he will get a significant amount of game time and I expect the same for Munoz, I would like to give Rio a game a week as a starter, I don´t wanna overplay him but the whole of Anfield will be singing for him.
Then Munoz is also quite the prospect, there are not many faster players in Spain, there was not a single one that counted as many dribbles in one match either and I am pretty certain he was one of the top three dribblers in La Liga last season but I am not sure about that. Then he probably has the best football education I know of in Spain. He was also the one that forced a move away from Castilla to find first team football.
We know he can play more than one game a week.
With the pace we are adding to the forward line I am looking forward to seeing us play. We had zero ball carriers last season, the only one that could do it was Rio. This season we are entering into the season with three ball carriers.
It actually makes me admire Lucho a bit more for the work he did that last season of his, Salah was not carrying the ball that season either, he was picking his moments while Lucho dribbled up that left field.
I´m taking Barcola as 100% actually, something really major needs to happen to prevent him from signing. I don´t see much gametime for Gakpo happening, we know Rio is better than him. Barcola would suit us much better as well, I think Munoz will get more starts as well. Maybe I am completely wrong about him though and he just pops up as usual and gets 3500 minutes, no I can´t see it. Not with Barcola coming in.
If we sign Barcola I would argue that Gakpo would be number four. It starts with Barcola for the left wing, then Wirtz, Rio and possible Munoz as well. So number 5, maybe it´s just that I don´t see the point in investing into him anymore as he will not become better.
