Let’s look at the facts, not hot air. Long before we signed Isak, I said we should not sign him for £125m, because of 4 very valid reasons. This is not just my opinion, these are highly valid facts.
1. He was far too overpriced, no top striker last summer was sold for more than £80m, and Isak wasn’t miles better than any of them to justify such a ridiculous valuation
2. He is highly-injury prone, as already proven this season, as he missed 10 games injures before his serious injury.
3. How dumb can you be to sign two top strikers to compete for one position? And, Ekitike was NOT bought to play on the left, despite what some Isak apologists are saying.
4. The priority should have been to replace Luis Diaz with a similar quality winger, or even keep him – if this happened, it is highly likely we would be still challenging for the PL.
So how the fuck is that hindsight, when I clearly stated the facts long before we signed Isak, way back in July or August last year?
