Maverick, think you’ll find it was Woodward and the other gimp after him who signed majority of those players. Unfortunately those were the days when the owners and the board were more interested in signing egos and big name players just to sell shirts and commercial deals with no thought of footballing matters.
Can’t argue with lot of what you said about keeping players to long etc. I mean you can trace it back to when we signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal just because we thought City were going for him!
It too early to say Cunha and Mbeumo are flops. Yes we paid too much for Casemiro however even at 101years old he’s better than Gallagher lol. Hey we will just agree to disagree on this.
