Maverick I would have been happy to see him play at a rival and btw Havertz is a very underrated player, not really a striker but he can produce when going forward but Wirtz is something else.

Over here at Liverpool we have not exactly been stacked with good midfielders going forward, they have been the industrial type until now with the exception of Thiago. The last one was Coutinho that could be relied upon to produce goals and assists and Wirtz is better, he is more focused and more of a team player. I am so impressed with his vision as most of the time the team is not seeing what he is seeing and that is really rare to see in a footballer. I actually think he can produce 20 goals and 20 assists in a season and I am usually the most conservative here with my expectation.

Like every time we buy a new striker and I predict that he will underperform the whole forum usually goes against me, I think that has happened with the majority of our strikers with the few exceptions that actually made the expectation the forum predicted.

I´m seeing a player capable of replicating what Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes, Silva, De Bryune have done in the past decades. He could even turn out to be better than them in some aspect of the game but I am 100% that he will be a success.

Name me another 22 year old midfielder in Europe producing the same numbers? There are few above his age that produce his numbers, the sky is the limit for the kid. I am that impressed with him.

Roberto Baggio is somehow my favorite player of all times, he taught me a very valuable lesson in football, never hate your opposition. They might one day turn out to be your favorite player and I hate myself for it, I only started appreciating him when he was 28-29 I think. When he signed for Milan, I had hated him at Juventus as he was the best striker in the league or one of them. It is so stupid and tribal. My favorite season of his is with Bologna, when everyone had written him out as a has been, injury prone player with no longevity.

He had a ponytail, the most stupidest ponytail in the world of football and a mustache to go with it. Dodgy knees from being overplayed from his time with Fiorentina, suffered the same problem with Juventus, then gain at Milan only to make the most remarkable comeback at Bologna, the crazy thing is that he did not even play good at Milan when I fell in love with his playstyle. He was just so good you could not deny it. Then Inter another failed stint because of politics mostly. Took over Brescia then and captain them to the day he retired.
