he was not out injured Songman, it was a fitness issue, just look up his injury record on transfermarkt, I´ll admit that it took him some time to get over that first big injury, he had a couple of related injuries but it is the only season a part from this one he has missed. Otherwise he has been playing around 90% of available gametime. 40-46 games a season plus international football. A highly injury prone player does not play 50 games a season.
He is likely to come back before the end of the season, he will have a full pre-season with us next summer, he might still win us a trophy this season.
Out of all the strikers in the world right now, there is only a handful of players that are better than Isak. Haaland, Mbappe and Kane are the only three that pop up in my mind. With all of them being more clinical but this is Isak´s opportunity to prove that he is good enough to win titles.
I still think he will achieve that over here. I don´t give a flying fuck about his transfer fee.
