Well with Phil Jones injuries ruined his entire career. Martinez has had 2 really bad, unlucky injuries. He’s not getting shitty little Mason Mount injuries. And he’s returned back to his best after both. Phil Jones never returned back to those levels again.
Martinez has just turned 28 so coming into his prime now too. Hope he stays fit as he’s a warrior with a great attitude to defending. How he was stronger than haaland the other week for a full game is beyond me.
