Don’t know much about Jacquet, though he’s being hyped up (by Fabrizio Romano) as one of one of the most talented CBs in the world.
If he has the same impact on our defence, that his fellow Frenchman Ekitike has had on our attack, we could be on to a good one.
He’s still quite young though, only 20, and hasn’t been capped at senior level by France (yet).
As for his height at 6’2″, that’s the absolute minimum I would accept for a CB, as Joe Gomez is 6’2″ also, and he’s done quite well in his career.
