Liverpool play 50-60 games a season.
This is Salahs 9th season at Liverpool and he pretty much has been an ever present in the team.
Even he only plays 30-34 games a season (bar his first season) so Wirtz may get used to being rotated.
When up to speed/form he can play 10 or left sided attacker if we stick to the 4-2-3-1. If we alter formation other options open up.
I suspect we may alter formation when Salah goes to AFCON.
Start of last season Gakpo shared the mins with Diaz off the left; until Jota was injured and it was obvious that Nunez wasn’t up to it so Diaz was moved central.
If Wirtz fulfils his potential he will play most games too. But now he has to step up and show what he can do.
