Brian, my uncle’s a lifelong season ticket holder for Leicester and long before covid Leicester had money in the kitty (he mentioned), something like 40 million and I’m talking around 2019. You’re right on Mahrez. I don’t know the full extent/impact of covid so I am going by Nine’s word in good faith.
Also, judging by Brendan Rodger’s thoughts on the back of the victory gave me the impression the owners hadn’t done enough, although there is also the FFP alignment and my guess is the investment made on the training ground.
I would say I am bamboozled when deconstructing this.
