Km-You defend Maguire better than Maguire can defend on the pitch, mate😂. I agree though, he is our best cb when De Ligt and Martinez are made of glass. He’s also seems to learn Yoro how to defend better. BUT, he’s an oil tanker when changing directions as we saw against Bournemouth when he conceded a penalty defending with his arms yet again. This happened inside the box, imagine playing higher up the pitch or shall we play a low line inside the box the whole next year and hope for countersttacks? Hope we sign a new cb,2 fullbacks, Goretska on a free AND two cmf players but I won’t hold my breath. Goretska and Mainoo in cmf and Maguire as cb keep me away from drooling of excitement.

So its “here we go” from Romano regarding Maguire signing one year extension with reduced wages and plus the club option for another year, fantastic. On top of that they want to sign Goretska a 31 year old midfielder from Bayern. Lovely news. Anyone feels excited? I’m not the slightest. Of course they do Dee. They are paid royally to fuck things up. So Tuchel was raving about Garner, good. He is a solid cmf, he and Gomes would steady the ship. But I don’t think Garner fancy going back. Agree on buying 3 cmf players. Need to buy 2 proper fullback too. I want Dorgu as the left winger. But I expect Carrick to play Cunha before Sesko so that will backfire. Right flank is a real mess with Dalot and under performing Amad and Mbuemo.

Tonali is more like a 8,same as Gomes and Anderson but doesn’t really matter. What’s matter is to have two solid cmf who can carry the team both in attack and defence who works in tandem. Gomes is half the price of Anderson and Tonali and I believe he fits Man United better than the other two. The problem is Carrick and Mainoo. Sadly both of them are favored by the board.

Yeah another one who thinks he has made it. We need a Klopp manager to sort these things out. Under Amorim, Mbuemo and Amad put more energi in the game despite Amad playing as a wingback. Carrick is a soft manager as he was as a player. Letting Mainoo strolling down the park because of its tradition to have a academy player in the first XI. Next thing will be Carrick licking Rashfords feet when coming back from Barcelona.

People need to wake up. Its about building a proper squad. Not only the first XI,we need a good bench too. If we qualify to CL there will be many more games plus the domestic cups we went out early this season.

The thing with Aston Villa is their midfield with Tielemann, McGinn and the revelation of former cb Kamara now a very good dmf, very good management by Emerai. I rate Kamara as one of the very best dmf in Pl. I started a thread about him in old TT when he was available. These 3 have been out for a while at the same time hence the dip of form. McGinn is back but not the others. We should beat them because of this but I have bet on a draw. Man United is far from a reliable team.
