I don’t think Jose is the busted flush that some do and if the right Club emerges for him I think he may well prove that but that Clubs not Chelsea imo and I wouldn’t want to see him come back again and I think that’s the view of the majority of Chelsea fans.

Big rumours on Rafa this morning who personally I would be quite happy with but I think it’s unlikely despite him being second favourite now behind Frank.

Frank remains odds on its a risk but given all the circumstances I think that might be the way Chelsea go.

First things first though Sarri has to join Juve after which I suspect things will quickly drop into place for someone currently most likely Frank and Jody.

Pagan, Eddie Newton is responsible for all of the loan players I’m sure his input would be very beneficial as to who should comeback to the Club to perhaps he appraised pre season by whoever the Manager may be. Flo is involved in that area too. Cheers 999

Rumours of Rafa to Chelsea growing?

He wouldn’t be everyone’s choice at the Bridge but he looks a good candidate to me taking all circumstances into account.

But would Roman really be prepared to take another chance on a potentially less than popular Manager given the previous Sarri situation.

Mak, agree with you on the Fekir price if it was Β£50/60m last season with two years left it should be circa Β£25/30m this season with a year left. I’m sure he will go go to someone this Summer if he doesn’t sign a new contract with Lyon but I doubt it will be for a reported price of 15m Euros.

On De ligt I’m not sure Liverpool are in the running anyway it seems to be between PSG and Barca, PSG offers the money and guaranteed trophies whilst Barcelona offers the cachet and preety much guaranteed trophies difficult decision for the boy if I was him I would go with my mate De Jong to Barca but maybe that’s the Catalan influence in me.?

As you say Liverpool have Gomez and Klopp won’t invest where he doesn’t think it’s necessary he’s too wise for that and knows Liverpool’s transfer funds have to be put to best use. Cheers 999

He’s not in the betting and I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but with Sarri due to join Juve within the next 24 hours Chelsea could do a lot worse than appoint Rafa and he’s not tied to any lengthy contract either.

Be driving through France on Thursday so I won’t have to suffer the Real unveiling of Hazard.

I wish him the very best though and I will trying to watch as many Real games as I can next season to get my Hazard fix.?

Danny Murphy told talkSPORT that PSG are closing in on a move for Matthijs De Ligt.

Would that be a good move? ? “

threeps, hand on heart I haven’t seen him regularly but when I have seen him he’s looked a talent. Good point re Gomez so it will be down to Klopp as to whether he goes after him there are a lot of Clubs interested anyway so it will eventually come down to De light’s cboice

“Chelsea are having second thoughts about signing Mateo Kovacic now that Maurizio Sarri is on the verge of joining Juventus.” Simon Johnson Evening Standard .

Johnson is usually preety spot on with Chelsea news. It makes sense no point in throwing a big slice of the Hazard fee away on Kovacic with Bakayoko coming back, Mount likely to be added to the squad and hopefully Lotus Cheek back by Christmas or thereabouts.

Given Chelsea are allegedly sending Higuain back to Juve Kovacic was the only player Chelsea could sign in the Summer due to the ban which whilst appealed stays in place without Chelsea request it to be suspended which they haven’t so far.

Think you’re right too Stevo if Spurs lose those players they will need replacing and on top of that they need to invest too.

                            Be foolish not to.

No point in having a great Stafium and an average team and Spurs are so close to winning top trophies but it could all fall apart if they get this Summer wrong.

Despite Levy’s miserly reputation I think he’s smart enough to realise that. Unfortunately.?

tba, I have understand your frustration mate and I think you’re right if Levy doesn’t spend on a couple of decent players this Summer I think both the players and Poch will question Spurs ambition especially as you’re so close now.

Time will tell but to be fair nobody has bought anyone of merit amongst the top sides yet but there’s still time and Spurs do seem to be in for one or two too. Cheers 999

Stories in the press that United are prepared to pay De Gea Β£20m to go this Summer in order to get a decent fee for him rather than let him leave on a free next Summer.

Big miss for United if he goes despite his end of season form.

Mak, wages aside and no disrespect to Gomez but De Ligt would be a massive signing for Liverpool.

Paired with VVD it would make Liverpool virtually unbreachable lots of interest in him from all the big Clubs in Europe and he’s going away on holiday to think about it all now.

Unfortunately his Agent is Raiola and he will look for the biggest package including what’s in it for him personally.

I saw the Fekir rumours too. He’s into the last year of his contract and 15m Euros was suggested not sure he’ll go for as low as that but he will be available at a bargain price this Summer and someone will snap him up.

The compensation impasse on Sarri joining Juventus seems to have been fixed by Juve agreeing to reduce the monies owed for the Higuain loan move by Β£8m. Which suggests we’re likely to see movement this week?

The right team won the Nation’s League.

Some sparkling football from Bernardo Silva.

UEFA will have been delighted with how this inaugural tournament went. It’s not the World Cup or the Euros but it’s still worthwhile winning and it’s helped do away with meaningless friendlies.

Dier is currently struggling to get into the Spurs team.

We shouldn’t be selecting players who can’t get into their Club sides regularly.

I can see Walker lossing out to TTA both are not as strong defensively as they are offensively but TTA delivers a much better ball.

There’s positive in respect of the young players coming through and Southgate definitely has something to work with going forwards.

If the draws kind to us, we get a bit of luck and Southgate makes the right choices we could be quite useful in the Euros but there’s a long way to go and lots of things have to drop into place for us.
