Regarding crossing, I saw Henry on the overlap a few months back. He said these inverted wingers over recent years can’t dribble. His argument was that they go in field, he argues that the proper wingers, and his example was Giggs. He said that proper wingers who dribble, they beat players on the outside and put a cross in, he said modern players don’t do that because they’re not capable of doing it.

This was the beauty of past strikers like rooney, Tevez, suarez, Henry etc. They could do things on their own and were involved in all aspects of play. This meant that your team could score in many ways, the problem with these modern day strikers, they are all big lumps and literally 100% service dependent.
