In all honesty it’s no shock we doing so badly if you look at the calibre of players they been recruiting since they took over with the exception of only 5 or 6 players. More surprising is the fact we won 2 major trophies and we still laying 6th although I expect us to drop to 10th or even 12th season end.

Officials have been favouring united for years since ferguson started there ….
Not sure if its intentional or a subconscious thing but its 100% definite favouring over the years . Everyone knows and even some united fans admit it

Rover while admittedly the team was poorly managed yesterday the players have to also be held accountable. Bad tackles, trying to shoot the ball past 2 or 3 defenders in your way, no ball dribbling skills whatsoever. Caciedo and Reece were decent while Pedro and Palmer tried hard but both lost the ball countless times while the Pedro who scored the goal went missing after that. Sanchez is back to his nerve wrecking ways. As for Rosenier it’s going to be the same as under Maresca. A few highs and more than a few lows. To draw to Leeds and Burnley at home is inexcusable whoever the manager may be. We can forgot about a top 6 finish now as the runin is incredibly tough.

I dont understand virtually half that teams selection. I understand players have to play 2 games a week but so what, we played 3 games in 3 different leagues every weekend, ok it was amateur leagues but just as competitive and vigorous and demanding as any professional leagues. This is the EPL you HAVE to field your strongest available team in EVERY game, Maresca flatters for a while only to decive again with his team selections. There is a huge difference between our so called A team and B team. I stopped watching after Leeds first goal, cause I knew it would be a hopeless task. If a nobody like me knows how come Maresca cant figure it out. Im on the verge of giving up watching the game. It seems he has not learnt from his previous mistakes in other games we lost and should have won.

I never followed so called tactics, i just went out there and did my thing and tried my best. I sometimes wonder if players really follow the tactics. If every player plays to his strengths they surely can’t do much wrong.

Can’t keep a player like Lavia who keeps breaking down, the guy is made of cotton wool, despite his ability he needs to be sold ASAP that’s if any club is foolish enough to buy him. His costing the club too much money. Tbf his not the only one but his by far the worst case.

Good result but its a very tight league one game can take you out of the top 4 or even top 8. Wouldnt worry too much about Bournemouth and Sunderland they bound to drop points too. Pity we couldnt get a draw against united and Sunderland. We need Palmer back asap.

Some good sumups on here all basically true re keeper, centre halves snd striker. I think Maresca likes Gusto so he plays Reece as a defensive midfielder to accommodate both of them. Thats of course wrong. Could have played Lavia or Bonnanotta or Fernandez further back. Lavia and Estevao came on way to late. Acheampong should have also started, his our best centre half while Colwill is out which unfortunately is virtually the whole season. We shouldnt get carried away as Spurs were terrible.

Generally accepted that Maresca is selecting the right starting team thats available but making crucial match losing substitutions. This was evident Saturday again and in previous games against United, Brighton and even Brentford. Im not sure why or whats going through his mind but i see it as a big problem going forward, I was always on his side and still hope he comes right but i know have serious doubts about him. Additionally his style of play besides being very frustrating does not suit this current bunch. We also still have a big problem with centre half and centre forward areas. So thats about it in a nutshell.

Wow never expected that after Liverpool equalised but hey lots of excitement despite some poor passing from both sides, it was hectic and noone knew who was going to score next but you could sense something would happen. Injuries mounting too, thankfully its international weekend.

Me neither, but in all probability the best available starting lineup with the exception of Reece who should be at right back thus allowing for an extra specialist in the midfield. Still think Bayern have a better team in any event. Hope for the best.

Aindro doubt he will start Guiu, its amazing so many teams have so many injuries so early in the season. Cant fathom it out. And we were all complaining having too big a squad.

Rover i think we can just about cope with Sanchez and our defense for this season only, however next season or maybe even the next window they will have to look at those areas again and possibly another backup striker. Dont forget we still have 3 or 4 highly paid bomb squad players that nobody wants. We have to get rid of them first somehow.

I see besides Garnacho they still trying for Fermin whose way too expensive and Bounanotte coming in on loan. Where and when exactly are all these players going to get game time. Hope they know what they doing.

Aindro those players aren’t even in the squad including Jackson. I dont know what they doing when they have no team to play for but for them it’s also about money, they not willing to lower their wages so they just hang around. The club whoever it was at that time period only has itself to blame. Going to be a problem getting rid of the deadwood.

Problem is the squad has a lot of excellent players interspersed with below average players as far as EPL standards are concerned. And other clubs are not going to go for them at the prices the club values them. I would sell them at whatever we can,you at least get some money, get rid of their wages plus we already made unexpected money from recent successes. The club can’t carry on keeping unwanted deadwood. Saying that those players are still more than capable of performing at different clubs depending of course where they end up.
