Wrexham: Good fun or just another “money” club?

So, what do we think about this?

3 promotions in a row is nothing to be sniffed at, the only team to have ever achieved such a feat and now in the Championship, and I must admit I do enjoy watching the TV show. Deadpool and Rob certainly seem more “attached” and “interested” in their “project” than owners such as the Glazers.

But are they just another “money” club, such as Chelsea, Man City etc… who’s success is simply down to having more money than those around them and should also be treated with disdain?

It’s all a bit too glam and showbiz for my taste. Too many bandwagon fans that read The Hollywood Reporter and probably know Ryan Reynolds’ morning routine better than they know the first thing about football, never mind Wrexham.
But I’ve got to say that McElhenney and Reynolds are doing a good job, whatever they’re doing. They will probably make a glitzy Premier League cameo until the novelty wears off and the celebrities sell up, move on and everyone, once again, mourns and eventually forgets about another soulless vanity project.

But hey, still more exciting than Charlton’s last two decades!

Ive watched a lot of wrexham. Real underdog story at the start but now its just spend spend spend

Ditching players like mullen who got them to were they are. Buting pmayers and semming them after 6 months. They have bought loads of players then hardly played them

They are absolutely atrocious to watch aswell. Elliot lee the only real baller they have. Midfield is all ball winners. Dobson, rathbone etc. decent players but its all rush and kick

Ill still watch them this season. Great to see a city so transformed but nowthey are just throwing money around
