I know it was only Costa Rica but I can’t help but think Spain would tear England apart. The absolute worst kind of side for us to come up against if we get that far. I reckon Luis Enrique might end up in the PL before long too. Chelsea perhaps if it goes badly wrong for Potter?

Penalty may be a bit harsh, but just on another point – it’s refreshing to see a referee being such an authority on the pitch. Just with that scuffle then, the referee was on it straight away and showed them who’s boss. Be nice to see that in the premier league once in a while.

No Black Friday stress for me – Managed to get out of working Today and Tomorrow, which means I can focus on this 😉
I actually want England to finish Second from their group just so they can play Saturday afternoon next weekend instead of the Sunday evening which is what would take place in the knock out stages.
Pretty much not watched a full match so far, but must say, the 10am games are a breath of fresh air cutting out the mundane daytime breakfast shows.
Looking forward to Bale and Wales shortly – COME ON!

England should have far to much for the USA and wales. USA started really well the other bit really faded. I hope maguire can price the doubters wrong as the stick is just far to much . Surely it’s affect him and his family.
Bellingham will go to Real Madrid. Outstanding talent. I’ve enjoyed it so far. Lack of atmosphere and empty seats isbt great but I’ve just embraced it

Waspy, always thought Davies never gets the credit he deserves, not the most technical brilliant/skillful player on the pitch, but never gives less than 100% and you can never ask for more than that… certainly has been pretty decent on the left of a back 3 under Conte… can we get a better player in that position? Probably… but I’d rather strenghten other areas of the team first (like RWB!)
Puppy, at least Davies has scored in the Prem? How’s that bacon? 😉
