tho if the teams fail to swap shirts after the game…yet again….i shall be dissapointed2nd July 2019 at 3:08 pm #42907
I’ll be watching it, Steveo. I really enjoyed the Norway game at the weekend and it would be good to put one over the USA, though my opinion of the USA team did go up when their captain told reporters she wouldn’t visit the f***** White House. Obvious dig at Trump which always scores highly in my book!!2nd July 2019 at 3:12 pm #42908
I think some of the football has been pretty good, and the ball is in play a lot more than in the men’s game. They play it around and are not afraid to take risks. Hate to give Phil Neville too much credit, but he is doing a Southgate and getting people behind the team.2nd July 2019 at 8:21 pm #42929
After being completely dominated for 20 mins England have just equalised.2nd July 2019 at 9:29 pm #42931
Bloody VAR! Yet again spoiling a game. The right decision but NOT a clear and obvious error. She was offside by the tiniest fraction but decisions like that ruin a games spontaneity. It’s going to ruin the Prem as well next season.2nd July 2019 at 10:28 pm #42932
Spot on Hightown. First the Nations League and now this. Both marginal and clearly not obvious errors. Correct yes. But this really does ruin the emotions of the game3rd July 2019 at 6:29 am #42937
VAR and a missed penalty, no matter the sport or men/women, the “britishness” continues, we are not a country of winners with a true winning mentality or luck!….
damn shame but a fine performance from our ladies all the same, they played well and bar tiny margins…..3rd July 2019 at 7:53 am #42947
Thought they did really well overall, but were beaten by a better and fitter team on the night. But they have got many more interested in the women’s game, and hopefully will encourage young girls to play. It will be interesting to see if attendances increase next season in the women’s game.3rd July 2019 at 7:56 am #42948

Really didn’t do a thing for me, watch a few games, and they all felt like those World Cup afternoon games between two teams nobody was really bothered about and took a nap before the evenings more important teams.
But then again, I’m also struggling with the COPA America too… there have been some seriously ropey matches in that as well.
I wonder if it’s simply a case of just too much football these days?3rd July 2019 at 3:03 pm #42962
Any scones or biscuits with that tea? And to think some people have been drinking tea long b4 1776,eh?3rd July 2019 at 10:12 pm #42977
Oh man, the Netherlands goal just happened and that I must say doesn’t really reflect on what’s happened overall. Both were even and have cancelled each other up until this moment.
The quality upfront has been lacking for me to be convinced of anything happening.3rd July 2019 at 10:15 pm #42978
Can’t really see a Sweden Equalizer.3rd July 2019 at 11:15 pm #42979
Actually looking forward to the Final now on Sunday. Tonight dragged out in fairness, and intensity levels struggle.
However, refreshing to see something different displayed on the circuit in relation to what they are tactically trying to carve out.4th July 2019 at 7:39 am #42983
