Bloody VAR! Yet again spoiling a game. The right decision but NOT a clear and obvious error. She was offside by the tiniest fraction but decisions like that ruin a games spontaneity. It’s going to ruin the Prem as well next season.

VAR and a missed penalty, no matter the sport or men/women, the “britishness” continues, we are not a country of winners with a true winning mentality or luck!….
damn shame but a fine performance from our ladies all the same, they played well and bar tiny margins….._____________________________

Thought they did really well overall, but were beaten by a better and fitter team on the night. But they have got many more interested in the women’s game, and hopefully will encourage young girls to play. It will be interesting to see if attendances increase next season in the women’s game.

Really didn’t do a thing for me, watch a few games, and they all felt like those World Cup afternoon games between two teams nobody was really bothered about and took a nap before the evenings more important teams.
But then again, I’m also struggling with the COPA America too… there have been some seriously ropey matches in that as well.
I wonder if it’s simply a case of just too much football these days?

Oh man, I could hardly care less about something. I’m already not a fan of international football in general… but womens football is a complete joke. That’s not me being sexist, it’s just not at a very high level… Not that mens international football is either, really. Liverpool would hockey any international team in the world.
