The matches against Man U and Chelsea, will most likely decide whether we make top 5 or not.

I guess the cup games now become even more important if we want to win a trophy, but the top 4/5 trophy is the most important one, unless we (highly unlikely) win the champions league.

Sobering thought of having to rely on others to help us.

red I´m afraid if we lose in the cup the spirit just flames out for the season with nothing to compete for except a very long shot at the Champions League and in current form we don´t even make it past Galatasaray unless we put in some set pieces.

Slot talking about how we created more against Wolves is utter bullshit, we had a slightly higher Xg rate, the one good chance we had was when Van Dijk had that free header after Rio put a cross in, otherwise we created nothing going forwards, there was one other chance where Salah messed up the final pass shortly after he scored but those two are the only good chances that came from open play.

Gakpo cleared the ball after a set piece from Jones, Salah goal came from open play but he made the press himself, the dribble himself and the goal himself.

Rob we have lost around one quarter of our league games this season, this is the worst planned season in a very long time, we spent 450 million and look worse, every league game we look more stagnant and pedestrian.

What perplexes me is that we have only seen 2-3 angry players this season

I fancy us for top 5 as the teams we are competing againest are just as ordinary as us.

Villa in freefall, chelsea and utd very ordinary

Only team that can stop us is ourselves and we are doing everything in our power to fuck this up

There has to be a link with the chaotic subsistutes and formations and conceding late goals. I can’t see any other outcome than Slot being replavced and I would honestly press the button now. While the sad passing of Jota has impacted the squad it seems such an unhappy bunch

I did not really wanna believe he had tried the same substitution 11 times and it has only worked once! When your mistakes costs the teams 10 times out of 11 you have to stop for a minute and think for a second. Our game management has disappeared this season, we are the likeliest team to lose in the final minutes of the game, we are the unlikeliest team to score from open play.

Unhappy bunch maybe, it´s only in recent weeks we have caught a glimpse of Salah at home with his mates, it´s actually not a bad feast if they are showing up for Ramadan.

10 out 11 times that particular substitution has failed, he still continues to do it, despite knowing it weakens our backline and we usually concede late. I´ve never been a fan of subbing of one of our centerbacks, like I could not give you guys one example of when that works!

Nil we all know where it went wrong this season, everything comes back to Slot and his methods, decisions etc. Every player in the squad has become worse, every u21 player has left and we still have not seen our strongest lineup. Then Edwards and Hughes have a lot of explaining to do with Diaz, Elliot and Tyler Morton who has been in excellent form for Lyon this season. With no Endo he could have gotten gametime this season, he looks more than ready for first team football by his form in France.
