Havent seen the full game yet, but watched the MOTD highlights. We created so many openings, scored 5 goals. Yet we always seem to go into self destruct mode… the allison distribution mess up, gravenberch passing it straight to their striker, set piece defending, etc. you cant defend against mistakes like that and it normally leads to unease throughout the team.

Good finish from Ekitikes first goal, from the highlights gakpo looked a threat. Great dribble from rio and carving the opening and disappointed with Nyoni missing the chance at the ending… would have done his confidence a world of good.

Thats another win 6 out of 7. We can easily win the next 6 games, with wirtz, isak and frimpong coming back + FA cup and champions league … theres a lot to look forward too.

Yeah, plenty of points up for grabs still bingo and we’re in a good position to be fair. Perhaps I’ve been a little too negative and hard on ourselves.

United up to 3rd, but an Arsenal victory would do us good and if Villa start dropping more points, then 4th’s possible. Maximum points we can achieve is 78. Maybe 72-74 would be enough.

Hmmm, pretty good for us with that outcome. 3 points clear of Chelsea. I wonder if Neto for them misses more than one game.

Villa is Chelsea’s next at home I think so that could be interesting.

This season sucks for most clubs, Arsenal can get 91 points at most and 89 points for City. I’m guessing the title will be decided on 86 points this season.

So with the West-Ham game gone, I think from our next 4 games realistically we should be able to take home 10 points.

Got Chelsea down for 8 Points United down for 8 Points. We’d have to see how Villa’s own results map out. By these calculations, we’d still be 1 point behind United on 58 points, but of course, we’d be positioned well enough to still be a candidate.

I just think for now, Wolves is the hurdle Tuesday Night we want to overcome.

we need 12 points out of the next four games. We need those extra points, we should not be behind United in the league. No matter what! If you have a look at our fixtures then our league position is completely up to the team. We are supposed to batter Wolves even if our last encounter was a bit to even for my liking, Spurs are shit and we should batter them at home as well, then we just won a game against Brighton and should do so again. Fulham at home is another game we should be winning, then the derby against Everton which is a game that can go to either side as such is the nature of the fixture. Crystal Palace is another game we should be winning at home. Then United away, which is a fixture that will probably decide which club finishes higher in the league. Chelsea and then Aston Villa and finally Brentford.

We got two 6 point games against our nearest rivals in the league coming up, if we win them we will finish 3rd. The sad thing is that even if we have a perfect run until the end of the season, we can´t win the title.
