A lot of buzz surrounding these players. Do you think gomes could do a job for us in midfield.. maybe replacing endo/curtis in the summer?
Mane looks about 24yrs old… absolute UNIT(its probably the predator style haircut). We know united are sniffing around, but if hes got the potential and we sign him for under £50 mill could he plugin the gap left by diaz?? Has he got the potential and attributes (skill, pace, strength, game intelligence) to reach those levels or is he just on a purple patch??

Bingo, reports have it that it was Slot that convinced Wirtz to join with his vision of him developing in a role. Whatever he told him it hasn’t happening yet with the team fluctuating from the abysmal to the not quiet as abysmal.
Last season I thought Slot was intelligent and articulate in his interviews but this season he seems like an excuse making, rambling idiot most of the time.
I’m not sure how much involvement Slot has in recruitment anyway, seems disjointed with him and Hughes.
But I’m faily sure Slot won’t be head coach of LFC next season. Ajax maybe…
Mane is more of a central attacking midfielder right? Not what we need. Hearing Gakpo and Salah are likely off and Diomande and Olise (weirdly Gakpo as part of the deal) are replacements. If true would mean who ever comes in as head coach is expected to play with wide attackers.

Nil, hopefully a victory against west ham would make it 6 wins out of 7… only loss was to city. We need to capitalise on these winnable fixtures and tbh i dont care what people say about salah.. when he plays we are a more potent threat in attack.
The loss to Bournemouth was a disaster, but we still clawed the game back from 2-0 down + missing konate to bereavement, joe gomez got injured so had go play endo there for the most part.
Theres a lot of boys on the site who want slot gone, salah to fail, VVD gone, etc… which is disappointing when we should be rallying behind the team and keeping positive at the tail end of the season. i mean wtf, where is moonster? Soon has we put a mini run together and certain WUMs, doom merchants are nowhere to be seen? Long may it continue… still love you @Moonster ❤️, hope youre well and had a good start to 2026, drop into say “hi” sometime please.

Oh fuck he is an attacking midfielder in transfermarkt… thats one area we dont need players in… but if we were i would take the likes of mane or kees smit over the likes of Morgan rogers, Bellingham and cole palmer. I just think theres something about those boys persona that wouldnt fit well at LFC… and when the going gets tough they wouldnt get their hands dirty.
Also im against selling first teamers, its one of the reasons we are where we are this season… sell and replace the likes of endo, curtis, tsimikas, elliot, cheisa… no problems but the moment you sell/replace first teamers it could lead to bedding issues and imbalance.

Man U frustrating me at the moment. They can bring on Sesko and he bags a Winner and changes the course of the result.
Villa unexpectedly dropping points is a bit of a door opener for us. There’s games left, but not that many We’ve shot ourselves too often in the foot this season, so we really need to reach for those Stars and do Everything we can 🙂
