The reason why Salah and Gakpo havnt been as effective this season is because the space has been congested, particularly when you have a fullback and another midfielder in the space they want to attack.

Better, not brilliant. A few on asked for MacAllister to stay deep and I think he has, giving the forwards more space.

Kerkez started well attacking but I think WHU countered that by shifting everyone a little that way and now Gomez has the space. He’s don’t alright Joe.

Wirtz should have scored. The commentary I listen to suggested the defender did enough to put him off but as well all know its because he’s a young German. Can’t argue with genetics.
