Paxton, he may be a shit keeper, but he’s our shit keeper and he’s technically won more trophies inn domestic leagues than Lloris has. Kepa won the Europa In his first season with us. Lloris hasn’t won a single honour with spurs…. He is a World Cup winner with France though. Will give him that.
Besides that, Spurs have had a good result this weekend, so snip away sir at CFC and the fans…

For the record, I’ve blocked Paxton. I’ve always said I just don’t have the time to police this site as it’s something I do in my spare time rather than a job. I hate blocking people but Paxton seems to have made it his mission to annoy Chelsea fans and, despite a friendly hint this evening, continued to do so.
Completely understand if anyone disagrees with this but please understand I’m merely trying to keep this place as somewhere where fans of all clubs can come on and discuss their opinions without being jumped on.

Of course it was a red. I was relieved when he showed yellow and VAR did its job and changed it. After Kepa’s stuff up I switched off seeing it was heading on for 3am here in the land of Oz. After that, enough was enough.

I think, more than we realize, the speed and intensity of these games are really fast and the grass that’s covered from one end of the pitch to another.
I saw a slight similarity last season on the counter against Leicester at Home with Mane finding the net. Mane is Robust and Athletic. There’s no reason for him to dive when clean through, one-on-one, so don’t understand the remark made on Mane diving when Christensen’s hands were all over him.
It’s very fast and it only takes one moment of infringement to cause an impact and alter the flow of the game.

Was overboard but I think more than one spuds fan is a little peeves at how precious a few of the Chelsea lads can be sometimes
We all defend our own but they are so ultra defensive even when a comment isn’t aimed at them
Can see why they may feel a bit annoyed , personally I love the banter it’s all part of the fun as long as people don’t get upset by it which they shouldn’t!

Ed… On Pax.. We’ve clashed but think its always been over football. I haven’t seen too much wrong with his posts given what Ive said sometimes. Even our Mighty Moose has calmed his tones. Hope you let him back on here some point and Young blue, I think the words needed to be learnt by you is to be more conciliatory I tone.
Be good all and lets see what game week 3 brings. Told you there’ll be freak results, Spurs yesterday was one such one… Who scores and lays on four goals… bit barmy.

Everyone defends their team but you need to be objective.
Saying mane dived and refs are conspiring againest their teams is just a reaction as it’s as clear as day he was dragged to the ground.,You need to accept some things but I totally understand things can be said in the heat of the moment

Dont mean to kick a man when hes down, but Kepa is likely at fault for the red as well. If he doesnt come rushing out, Christiansen doesnt have to make the challenge, or at least not as rashly. Really good time to play the Russians though. Team hasn’t gelled, and their fans always raise their game when we come to town, so playing in an empty stadium allowed us to play the game as if at home.

Pax and I have clashed in the past, but personally as far as these boards go, he’s generally fine and I can get on with him as with most others. He’s just bold and direct, sometimes a tad bit abrasive in his wording, but hope he can come back on. We need Posters and of a different fan-bases and variety.

D/H, yeah glad to play this fixture early and out of the way. Got one of the Manchester Clubs soon (City I think), so it would be nice to play them.
Encouraged by Thiago yesterday and Fabinho playing center-back. Huge boost for us. Jota still to come and Taki developing and getting better. Maybe we can use Henderson a bit more sparingly going forward.

I have said it before, fans get to over re act to football news. Life is too short to bicker about such things, show respect to all views. In the last 3weeks I have been ill, in the last 2 weeks I have lost my close neighbour of over 50 years and two days later lost my son in law.Football can be a help to recovery or it can be far to stressful to discuss without a sensible attitude. Stay calm folks and take care
