Welcome to another Weekend π
To get the not so good news out of the way, this is the last week before another (yes another!) International Break.
Be Aware: There are 2 Premier League Matches played this evening:
– Brighton v Burnley
– Southampton v NewcastleAs the first game kicks off 5:30, the Deadline for entering your Fantasy team is 4PM.
The Stand out games; Everton v Manchester United and Manchester City v Liverpool.
Tricky to Predict, but should be some good viewing.
And I’m sure plenty of talking points will unravel over the next few days π

6th November 2020 at 11:06 am #169743Donβt know how true it is but Sky is reporting that United have officially approached Potchetino, they normally reliable not perfectly though.

6th November 2020 at 12:42 pm #169747City win for me as they have got it together at the back
No vvd, Thiago or fabhino. To tough a task
City 2 or 3 nil
Ole will hold into his job after a win at Everton
Another win and clean sheet for Chelsea

6th November 2020 at 1:30 pm #169748Yeah actually think Utd will bounce back with a convincing win, which is so typical of Ole’s reign. Lose the games you should win and win the games you should lose.
Chelsea should be beating Sheff Utd without much problem. City clear favourites against a weakened Liverpool side.

6th November 2020 at 2:41 pm #169749Almost impossible to predict any results currently imo who could have predicted Liverpool losing 7-2 at Villa and then Villa going on to beat Leicester away only to lose their next two games conceding at home to Leeds and Southampton conceding 7.
Two very interesting games this weekend for different reasons in Everton v United and City v Liverpool. If I was prepared to wager a pound on both I would predict a United win giving Ole a little bit of breathing space and a draw between City and Liverpool.

6th November 2020 at 4:57 pm #169755Ed…I take your previous point about Ole…he does have a strong loyalty to the club, things are just not working out for him but he should be kept in the club much the same as City have done with brian Kidd unless of course he wants to move on

6th November 2020 at 5:07 pm #1697597-2 was a one-off. A blue moon. The Deflections, a disjointed defense and Adrian had a lot to answer to. With a stronger line up, we lost 5-0 at the Ethiad, though again some Context can be applied given that the Title had already had been won.
Wouldn’t rule out a comprehensive Man City win.
I would prefer Everton to drop points as with the other chasing pack – very close to each other on points in the Table.

6th November 2020 at 5:21 pm #169760Nil, it wasn’t a criticism of Liverpool mate it was utilising Villa as an example to demonstrate how topsy turvy the PL currently is and how difficult it is to predict any results.

6th November 2020 at 7:34 pm #169764Nine, I see what you mean mate. I think for some teams so far for example Away from Home have been filled with more confidence. The level of competitiveness too is greater than ever as teams have been showing the capability of taking points of each other.
Cheers

6th November 2020 at 7:59 pm #169767Sean, I’m afraid mate (as much as I don’t like repeating this weekly), it goes back to the point of no fans. Floodlights just about combined with lockdown and a Friday Night.
To find and maintain Motivation I think is difficult for Players to go out and put a shift for 90 mins.

7th November 2020 at 9:31 am #169773AnonymousMarvelD, they obviously want stay there. I like Saints but they want even finish in the top 4 or a very outside chance of a top 6. It’s going to take a few weeks before the top 6 table is correctly regulated.

7th November 2020 at 11:46 am #169775Two points Nike…and I am not having a go!! On the basis of what you say the away teams should be winning all the time and secondly. players are motivated to picking up there money so they should make an effort to play 90 minutes of a game. “they love”. In the current climate the game has evened out a little, for me, I am pleased to see that.
