27th September 2024 at 9:55 pm #215759Late on Gents having finished on the late shift Tonight; Fifa 25 launch Today, oh my god π Beyond me entirely; too old for gaming π
Need to sort out my Fantasy Team though. Not sure how Newcastle will pan out tomorrow lunch time, but I would expect a either a thumping City win or edged last minute with Grealish etc.
Tough tough game for us re Wolves, never an easy ride.
Gunners should be in fine fettle with goals whether or not Leicester.
Spurs-United Sunday, should be a Cracker π

28th September 2024 at 8:08 am #215760Ye nil, we should really be winning at wolves mate but i really think we are going to see a few results like forest this season. Same players bur whole new back room staff and manager. We have to be up for it
Utd v spurs should be a great game. Spurs shocking away from home and utd so inconsistent
City to edge out newcastle.

28th September 2024 at 3:42 pm #215762Ye rover im watching it mate.
Two teams creating all their own problems. That brighton high line is ridiculous. Its so high. Chelsea pissing around at the back but what a game.
Cole palmer is brilliant to w.4 goals.

28th September 2024 at 5:39 pm #215764Well if you remove the two howlers from Sanchez, this game would have been a very good game for us. Once gain we have scored 4 goals against a top team, and iβm hearing that Brighton were awful today. This has become a trend now, every time we have a fantastic result, they say the team was awful. They did it against Wolves, they said same against West Ham, now they are saying the same thing.
I now see why Chelsea extended Palmerβs contract. This boy is on his way to becoming top player soon. 4 more goals again, superb free kick and could have had another if his concentration was ok.
I really donβt like Maduekeβs attitude. He cost the team goals. He is selfish and wants to score, even when it seems impossible. I hope Maresca has a word with him or drops him.

28th September 2024 at 6:36 pm #215767That foul in the first half on Macca shouldn’t have followed with all the excessive protestation from Wolves. It’s a clear free kick and if Taylor feels this warrants a Yellow, that’s his prerogative. Only Captains really should be locked with Refs should they feel aggrieved with the decision and wish to raise a dispute.

28th September 2024 at 6:37 pm #215768Good finish by Konate, but we’ve not really played too well attacking wise.

28th September 2024 at 8:29 pm #215769Sean: Well, I still think back 2 weeks and reeling from the loss of Nott’m Forest. The players still at times lack guidance to be able to execute basics and and sustain a rhythm. Sloppy passing, the odd scare and mistake that we’re doing to ourselves would ultimately let us down and we’d fall short as a result.
With all that however, we are Top; dunno if deserving but I’ll take it all day long. 5-0 lost 1 π π

29th September 2024 at 3:31 pm #215771Glad Ugarte starts for us, would rather Hojlund started up front, but he probably needs minutes to get match fit again.
Not looking forward to this one, need to get off to a good start. And cut out the silly mistakes.

29th September 2024 at 3:32 pm #215772Another very attacking line-up from Angie in the battle of the continiously inconsistants… about the only thing you can be sure about is it’s unlikely to be 0-0 after 90… and YooUtd will get given an absolutely stupid decision given their way… always happens at Old Traffoed… so 3-2 YouUtd based on a peno for a tackle in the center circle or something…

29th September 2024 at 3:43 pm #215774Banjo thats a mad Spurs team Way from home mate. No protection for the back 4 . Utd be licking their lips. Also son hugelossand werner is just pants.
Spurs and brighton play a ridiculous high line. Its just maddness.
Yesterday showed how the game-has gone. Over playing at the back . Teama riddled with mistakes and conceding goals.

29th September 2024 at 5:05 pm #215776Ange gets quite a bit of brief but they do have an identity under him and are good at what they do, even if it can be a bit naive at times. What Ten Hag has brought to Man Utd though is anyoneβs guess. They just seem to play in fits and starts, whilst being easy to play through. How heβs still in the job is beyond me.

29th September 2024 at 5:15 pm #215778He needed to go.
Beyond head-scratching for ETC. He needs a leader to translate on the pitch the instructions laid out from the start. This team is out of their depth.
