Didn’t the PL call the game off because of the Covid outbreak at City involving several players which also saw the City training ground closed.

Agree Blaze, the Achilles injury did for RLC he needed consistent game time this season to get over that be suprised if he isn’t back at Chelsea next season vying for a starting place.

Absolutely Pagan, that’s fine. Rodgers if you remember 13/14 only had 1 game a week to play so a lot more preparation time and less risk in players being injured.
I think Klopp’s drawn a comparison between the 2 clubs in the journey so far, leading up to this head-to-head.

Pagan, that’s how he feels though mate. Jk’s been like that with TV people too on scheduling; the underlying thought being rest, recovery and depth of squad.
Naturally, I get it being a Liverpool fan, but my point is, he has a lot of common ground with Pep, and those thoughts he should have kept to himself.

I get that Nil but the PL cancelled the game not Man City because City had 4 cases of Covid in the Camp which led them to also shut their Training Ground. Absolutely the right decision by the PL albeit that it should have been made sooner.
It was just one game that got postponed that’s all and City have played more games than Liverpool anyway because of their run to the Carabo Cup Final.
Storm in a tea cup though that will have no bearing on the game tomorrow.

United have taken the lead. Just looking at the table; IF we were to win tomorrow, at best, we’d be looking the weakest in a 4 horse race. Can’t really discount Leicester.
