Agreed Sean. Harsh on Fred to lose his place. They were very effective as a 2 against Spurs. Utd the stronger side first half but fully expect a different Chelsea second half.

Lovely header. Draw probably a fair result in the end. Chelsea will be the happier of the two sides with that. Utd with most of the chances.

Ed, utd were in compete control first 30 mins, was very worried. The way your forward players pressed combined with the 3 to 2 numerical advantage in middle of park dictated the game. Night and day from an ole side defo making good progress 👍
I think it was completely different game after Potter made the change 36th minute to bring kovacic on for Cucurella and bolster the midfield. I thought chelsea took control going into second half from that point on ETH made changes to match chelsea up and cancel them out.
I think neither team deserved to win to be honest, both seemed more concerned with avoiding defeat and both looked very short for real quality in final third. Both Miles off city and even arsenal right now.

Disappointing not to hang on to the one nil with 7 minutes to go but overall a draw was a fair result.
Like Lucky I was concerned in the first 30 minutes but the change to formation and bringing Kovacic on changed things around.

Yeah I think that pretty much sums it up Lucky. I thought we had the better chances and certainly more shots but a draw is probably the fairest result. Would have felt very harsh had Chelsea come away with the 1-0. As you say, both miles off City. Disagree that we’re both miles off Arsenal. Think they’ll fall away soon. Wasn’t overly impressed by them at OT.

I think we will get better Ed. Missing 8 players today ,5 at who would have started today but we were terrible today. We really were. Forest fully deserved it. Alisson our best player this season which says it all

Thought utd were the better team today. Chelsea have a better squad but potter makes to many changes every game. Utd have a settled team now. Very early days for both teams. Bit negative from both managers who were afraid to lose the game.

Sean, I think what exacerbates things is that Elliot & Carvalho are really better in the front 3 than the midfield 3 but have had to be drafted into midfield because we’re so short there. As for Thiago, even when he comes back, how long is he going to be back for with his injury record? He just can’t be relied upon.
One thought that’s been creeping in – would we now be in a better position had we bought 2 ready to go midfielders rather than Nunez? We’d maybe be a bit short in attack but think we’d just about get away with it. But the midfield situation is now pretty much catastrophic for me.

Declan rice has really impressed me over the last 12 months mikuis but he will go to Chelsea.
My worry is Klopp will walk As you have said.

Agree Sean I don’t think Klopp will get sacked he’s got too much credit in the Bank currently. I wouldn’t bet against him walking though if things don’t beginning turning around at Liverpool that’s something he’s done previously.

Declan Rice to Chelsea has been rumoured for some time and he’s a former Chelsea Academy player and massive mates with Mason Mount and seemingly if he goes his first choice is likely to be Chelsea.
He would be a good buy for anyone, problem is West Ham don’t want to sell him and if they do they want silly money for him probably north of £100m.

Draw was probably the right result re Chelsea-Man United.
Ten Hag for he re-instilled the fight in his players; something that was lost.
I feel more was centrered around one particular player and the dressing room.
To a very fine degree, I can see Roy Keane’s point and the point of Legacy, but there’s ways of conducting yourself, showing class, humility and being a gentleman now matter how frustrated one can be (which I get) not being selected and left on the bench.
It takes somebody to be bold from the start and set a precedent and kudos to Ten Hag for sticking to his guns and putting the club first.
