There’s talk about Klopp copying Pep in terms of creating alternative set ups.
If this means finding the ‘better fit’ for our players to be able to maximize potential, then so be it. Curtis Jones doesn’t all of a sudden perform really well albeit in a more of an advanced playing position.
It looks like Gakpo next season will be more involved in playing off the 2 holding midfielders. Fabinho really came good y’day as with Henderson, but we effectively played a poor Leicester team.
Some defeats this season could have been avoided quite frankly, but I feel teams out there exposed us and made the most of our achilles just so not only they get 3 points, but also taking the pressure off them (e.g. Leeds and Bournemouth).
Investment this summer and a clear out must be paramount and hopefully with our new Sporting Director, this will be top of our list and underway.
