Bad Boys, Bad Boys, what you gonna do, what you gonna do when the Spuds come for you…

So, an interesting table after some interesting mid-week games….

The biggies are seemingly Monday and Sunday, with Money City vs Goonies being the highlight. Seems to be some lose lug-nuts on certain teams, is the pressure getting to them already???

Plenty of potential for more slip-ups this weekend, who knows what we’re gonna do… Bad Boys, Bad Boys!

What a fabulous player Son has developed into he’s got it all. Love watching him play.

9, I agree…he’s got to be the most improved player in the Premises over the last couple of years. Keeper error for his goal, admittedly, but he’s a proper player, isn’t he?

Took a mistake for us to win it, but win it we did, and another game we deserved overall…

Hightown, yes the goal was a Keeper error but his overall game has gone to another level . He’s one of the best players in the PL now imo.

You have to give credit to spurs. They keep winning games late in the day. So many injuries yet 2nd in the keague. That’s really impressive

HH, I owe you an apology. Really, no offense meant. I just loath those other lads and I hold them accountable for ruining TT. What I say to them won’t be pretty. The way they carry on just boils my blood though, especially since they’ve chased off some quality posters, who haven’t joined footydebate. I won’t go on here because I’m just confusing the lads with a lack of context but ya, this comes from the on-going arguing/ranting on TT. HH escaped there to come back here, so I’m posting this as I’m not sure he’ll return to that thread.

Good win for Spurs, now we are in for a proper scrap. In my view, Son has been one of the most underated players in the Premier. If Spurs keep winning, injuries to there squad do not matter…you cannot do more than win your game.

Elias Kachunga nudges Cesar Azpilicueta in the back just inside the area. BBC.

My first thought is that it was just outside the box but it is difficult to tell. There is a nudge and Azpilicueta has lost his footing. Pat Nevin.

Looking back on the replays of that penalty, it does look like the challenge by Kachunga was just outside the area. BBC

Brilliant opening goal from Higuain. Amazing what a striker can do.😊

With Elias Kachunga running alongside him, Cesar Azpilicueta takes a preposterous dive to con referee Paul Tierney and win Chelsea a penalty against Huddersfield. Eden Hazard scores from the spot. (Guardian)

Cesar Azpilicueta goes to ground in the Huddersfield box under what appeared to be minimal contact. Indeed it was minimal contact, the Spaniard throwing himself to the floor. Penalty in any case… (Daily Mail)

Didn’t Pat Niven used to play for Chelsea?? πŸ™‚

I’ll wait until I see it before we decide how much of a scumbag the Chelski Cheaters really are… I mean, already winning the game, at home, in the first half, against the worst team in the League… stay classy, Chelsea… πŸ™‚

Double checked, Pat Nevin did use to play for Chelski… obviously not biased then! πŸ™‚

Not seen it Chucky and neither have you but try reading before posting your usual nonsense Pat Nevin wrote “My first thought is that it was just outside the box” .

But if it was a dive I’m sure it was nowhere near Kane’s standard.😊

5 nil three wonderful goal 2 of which were stunners from Higuain. Perfick!
