Ye Ed, Martinez is not the right way forward. Everton are an absolute mess. They Let one of their best players go to a rival sfrrr falling out with the manager then sack Rafa ??? Makes zero sense

Only two people thought it could work for Rafa at Everton. Rafa and the chairman. It was never going to work. What a ridiculous appointment

Sean. The headlines come up on Newsnow MCFC. You may well look at this site too but for Liverpool.
It is pretty good to get some up-to-date info. I don’t specifically look at the Echo or the Irish press, it’s just there. Not that important anyhow, just a bit pathetic really.

I still think Liverpool are in it and from our perspective there is no room for complacency. We lose a couple of games and who knows. Liverpool are perfectly capable of going on a winning run just as 2e have.

Daft decision by Everton and Rafa both to appoint him and for him to accept that appointment because it was never going to work. The Everton fans were never having him.

Martinez would be equally as daft given the circumstances in his departure from the Club and the fact the fans campaignined to get him out of the Club back then.

Everton are in a mess thanks primarily to the owner which proves just throwing money at it doesn’t always work.

Everton need a well considered appointment and a fresh start imo, I’m not sure whether Rooney or Frank Lampard would be the best appointments either difficult times for Everton and they have to get it right they’re not out of relegation danger either.

Probably a better option than Rafa was Adlab and seemingly Martinez was originally Everton’s first choice ahead of Rafa.

But the Everton fans wanted Martinez out so going back to him is potentially almost as dangerous as appointing Rafa.

Running roughshod over the wishes of the fans is a very dangerous game imo especially for a second time.

What a complete farce I have to say. I always go back to the ‘root’. Too many Pundits and not enough training staff in this particular Grade. Why? Same names. Can’t they find anybody else?

Everton in my eyes are a Big Club with lots of history that deserve Bigger and Better or at the very least somebody with prospects and pedigree.
