I can see Liverpool drawing the next 2 games, the obligatory bore feat v manu & Bournemouth this weekend. This is where we see c$ty start to drift off into the distance.

Well, I’m downbeat about this game, City is the favourites, and they are rightfully so given their form this season. I’m expecting very little from this game. we had a problem which we knew. and it had been there since last season. but somehow I’m surprised how we haven’t addressed it. this is season will always be a transition for sure. whatever we achieve will be a bonus. we have reached the maturity stage now. we needed to rebuild the team. because we lost several influential players. Lampard, JT, Cech, Cole, Drogba, and our recent losses, Courtois, Costa and Matic. we have a new manager who is completely new to the picture. for this reason, I’m surprised at how well we have performed. I was expecting setbacks after all. if we are to take anything from that game, we need to get and stick to our game plan 100%. it will not be easy facing the best attack in the league. but I have some hope however little it is.

Chelseaman why don’t you post on TT also? At least in this game Chelsea want be physically assaulted as in recent matches, City play good clean football unlike so many other teams. Fancy a draw but a loss against the world’s top club team is acceptable for now.

City winning is good for the neutrals? It’s the exact opposite. Chelsea are one of the few teams who have a chance of taking points off City. The league is over if they win and Liverpool lose. I’m not exaggerating and if City lose and Liverpool win, is it over, couldn’t be further from over. They’ll be breathing down our necks.
it’s firmly in everyones best interests in Chelsea win today. I’d even say City, because their season is going to be another boring one where it’s done before santa comes down the chimney.

C-Man.. there isn’t a single poster on here who can claim about their team “being assaulted” or their team don’t dive, without being called a hypocrite. My Spuds are as bad as anybody when it comes to the dark arts, never claimed otherwise, I simply suggest you do the same. I still don’t think City have been tested this season (apart from in the CL) and I’m afraid I don’t see Chelsea threatening them this evening. Chelsea have played some lovely stuff at times this season, but they ain’t going to out City, City. I fear they may play into City’s hands if they do so. If they are to threaten them, they really need to get in City’s faces and disrupt them.

About time for VAR. Didnt really affect the outcome but first goal offside.
