We’re hitting our heads against a brick wall here.

One thing Hodgson is more than capable of is setting a team up defensively

Bit more ingenuity required, a bit more flair and possibly a slight tweak in formation and tactics over to you Frank.😊

Bit of a stale game alright nine but can only see chelsea getting a break through

Palace can’t get the ball. Chelsea’s possession will tell in the end.

Chelsea up to 2nd now, 5 points behind Liverpool, 6 PL wins on the trot, Tammy joint top scorer and the youngest PL team Chelsea have ever played.😊

Don’t want to tempt fate but the last time Chelsea won 6 PL games on the trot they won’t the PL title in 2017.😊

Only City at the Etihad up next. Lol!

Klopp should have gone in for Pulisic, he’d known him for some time and players like that are hard to find.

Another VAR farce at the Lane, 3 minutes to decide a Sheffield player’s big toe was about an inch offside in the build-up to the goal… Spuds may have benefited but that was a complete and utter joke. Took almost 4 minutes to “decide”…

Pulisic is really enjoying life now playing in this new bright and vibrant young Chelsea team and living in London. Brilliant piece of business by Marina. Great move for both parties.

Both Hudson Odoi and Pulisic are benefitting from the fact Pedro and Willian are in the twilight of their careers, I personally don’t think either would have come/committed to the club if they couldn’t see a clear pathway to the first team….Pagan

    Frank on Pulisic.

‘Christian came from another league, didn’t really have a great break. He played some games early on and the pace of the Premier League is tough for any player, that’s been proven time and time again.

‘With Christian, I always believed that he had huge talent and was going to be a big player for us and he’s absolutely showing that. He was first-class today, as he has been recently with his energy, movement off the ball, slipping past people, working off the ball and his quality, and getting in areas again to score in and around the six-yard box, which I think is a huge thing for any wide player.

‘The only frustration is he comes off with a bit of an injury. He was going to be subbed before he scored his goal, he’s got a bit of a hip issue, but I’m hoping it’s not too bad because the way he’s in full flow at the moment is great to see.’

9, I think the hip injury was probably caused by him colliding with the post when he scored….Pagan

Annoyed but no complaints Waspy, if anything we were lucky to get a point. My lads looked tired to be honest, not taking anything away from Sheffield, and as much as I liked to look of the line-up, most of them played Wednesday… no excuses mind you. Just glad to see none of the “Contract 3” were involved.

Totally agree about the VAR, total joke, my coverage had them wiggling lines about on my screen, and it bloody well looked like they were wiggling the lines until they found something, as minute as it was, they could call off-side. A complete joke.
