Don’t know about you muppets but it’s only really the first and last games this weekend which are putting any fizz in my beanz.
Can we make it 5 in a row against the Essex Boys? A combination of statistics and some truely dreadful home form suggests not…
Can those cheeky little scallywags from Pool get three points over the 115? A bit more unpredictable, both teams are in “Spuds” mode at the moment and somewhat unpredictable. Hopefully a fun game with lots of nonsense… VAR is always good for a laugh when it doesn’t involve your own team!
Not much else to get the tastebuds juicy…

7th November 2025 at 11:55 am #230092Utd win spurs absolutely dreadful . Up there with arsenal as the worst team to watch. Arsenal beat Sunderland 1-0 in another snoozefest. League is theirs. So solid. Excellent team who just dont concede but not great to watch

8th November 2025 at 6:54 pm #230197Watched utd gane which was absolutely dreadful until last ten min. Utd keeper going long everytime. Sunderland keeper taking free kicks from just outside hid area with centre halves thrown up for a longball
Arsenal all abiut set olays, teams fking long throws. Real change-in approach and back to the 80s
Majority of games have been absolutely shite this season. Standard is very poor

8th November 2025 at 7:37 pm #230203Or not. Arsenal still not extraordinary enough for me. Theyβll only win it if the other contenders donβt show up.

Shame but Sunderland were brilliant to be fair so refreshing for a promoted team
Long way to go even had we won but you lot do like to wet your knickers early

8th November 2025 at 7:45 pm #230206Well thereβs something in what you say Steveo. But thereβs just something very Benitez 2009 about Arsenal. Very solid, very good but not quite got the edge.

8th November 2025 at 7:46 pm #230207I could live with losing tomorrow if it meant City giving it a good go afterwards.
Convinced though it’s still the Gunners to lose πΌπ₯Ήπβ½οΈ

9th November 2025 at 6:01 am #230215Sunderland moved the advertising boards 2m towards the pitch to limit Arsenal’s long throw capabilities.

Think its aresnals time.,built a great squad. Gone close a few times. Long way to go
It is great to see teams who cone up give it a right go. Sunderland are a big physical team.

9th November 2025 at 9:12 am #230218Some interesting games yesterday in the end, with some very dramitic endings…
Can’t decide which 4 o’clock game to watch, Villa/Bournemouth could be fun, but then we have the Eagles/Seagulls derby, not a lot of love lost between those two… but unfortuantely with VAR, not seen too many of the old school blood & guts games, no battle of the bridge etc… another draw back to which the VAR has sanitized the game… still hate it, still don’t want it (although it’s great when it isn’t your team involved! LOL!)
Oh, and then what is looking like a bit of a “play-off” game to see who might give the Goonies a run for their money…. especially Pool, lose this and that’s 5 in the “L” column, and I don’t think there’s ever been a “Champ” with 5 in he “L” column…
And let’s be honest, would rather have the Goonies win it than either of the two money clubs, they might be nomads and full of shit, but at least somewhere under that pile of excremant, there is a football club, not a financially doped plaything.

9th November 2025 at 9:55 am #230220That’s not a nice thing to say about Man City haha π Pep in his press conference was complimentary towards Liverpool. Maybe, just maybe his last hurrah.
I think about all, the PL is just full of surprises; that’s definitely now a given. Still believe Gunners are in the driving seat above the rest. It’s a question really of whether there’s a team that equally can mount a challenge and pressurize them.
It be a bit boring otherwise in what is the BEST LEAGUE!!

9th November 2025 at 10:25 am #230222Nil, unfortunately for fans of those two clubs, it’s an odour which will forever taint them. Neither club would have even a quarter of their success over the last 20 years if it wasn’t the level of spending and in the case of the 155 breaking the rules, or that other lot who may not have broken the rules back in the day, but forced UEFA/FIFA to introduce new rules (so pulling up the drawbridge once they had “leapfrogged”, or “bought”, their way into the “elite”).
I nearly dispise them as much as YooUtd… π
