Upon reading discussion of Klopp potentially taking a sabbatical once his contract ends, in 2022, I had a few thoughts come to mind.
1st, assuming those years have gone well (You can never be sure) I feel that I couldn’t fault him, even though you’d obviously want him to stay. 2.. and this is the unpopular part, is that assuming he doesn’t go to a PL side, I’d probably support whatever team he goes to, as my second team.
Having a second team is looked down upon generally and I’ve never really had one but I like Klopp that much that I can see me having one after.

I have an unpopular opinion. I didn’t want to bring it up at the time in this way because it was a fresh wound for the spurs lads on here but…
That was a penalty.
I thought it was harsh at first. I even said “no peno” (to my brother in law) whilst I was watching it but we were really under the elements .. it was dreadful if Im honest..
anyway lads. I will say that he’s definitely not “pointing” as is suggested. He’s 100% putting his arm into that position, thinking only about the chip over.
Now, I will say that this is an opinion and not a talking point. By that I mean , there isnt a thing in the world that will change my mind. If you disagree, you will be held in contempt and sentenced in the harshest manner of the law.

I’ve got an unpopular opinion but I don’t want Steady Eaddy to ban me…
All I’ll say is well done for winning the European up, soooo deserved, so so deserved, in fact, so so so deserved I’m surprised UEFA even bothered playing the game, it would have been a travesty is Spurs won it (I’ve heard a rumor it was so so so so so deserved, they’ve already awarded next years Cup to JurgenPool), congratulations on winning the “Bestest Ever Losers” in the Premiership, better than any Top 4 trophy that is, salutations on knocking YooUtd of that legendary perch that is top spot in “Banjo’s Teams He Loves To Watch Lose” table, no mean feat I can tell you (on behalf of Banjo!), and finally my compliments on your recent “Honorary Malmo Citizenship Award”, only giving to those who achieve a supreme and epic level of knob-headerary…

Fan call us the best losers so that’s just silly. With the exception of maybe one fan on here, liverpool fans have acted very dignified in victory while you dish out the stick which I find as funny as a wet fart.No one is gloating

Tbh I would have been upset had that been given against Chelsea in any game let alone a CL Final in the first 30 seconds and I expect the majority of fair minded Liverpool fans would have been too had it gone the other way in the first 30 secs..
Rules of the game? I’m not sure I even understand the rules of the game anymore but seemingly someone sat around a Conference table in the Kingdoms of FIFA/UEFA and decided any time the ball touches any part of the arm/ hand even though there may be no intent it’s a penalty.
With that in mind there’s going to be a lot of penalties next season and a of of frustrated fans.
Banjo is understandably imo still frustrated about the penalty which completely changed the game and imo ruined the Final.
Personally I don’t think the rights and wrongs of the penalty needed to be raised again evidenced by how it has developed on here..

Said it before that I look at a penalty &ask myself how would I feel if that was against Liverpool, my answer to this penalty is I think it was soft as f*** & shouldn’t have been given. Yeah going off the rules it’s a penalty but for me it’s like a diver hitting the deck with very minimal contact in the box, a penalty by the rule book but shouldn’t be given. Either way I was still very confident we would have won & we really just sat back & countered, which probably ruined the game as a spectacle but was effective.
Anyhow all in the past now, time to move on & look forward to another city EPL title & another cup coming to Anfield (hopefully)._____________________________

Ffs, 9, Mak’s post was in no way contentious, piss taking or rubbing it in. There is very little to talk about at the moment and as there are no club pages on this site, people have to be able to suck it up a little. Mak’s post was written with humour not malice.

Yes, I absolutely would, of course but the player is to blame. You cant put your arm out to shield play.. and I’m sorry, I’m not buying the pointing thing, as he just holds his arm there, knowing that the ball is likely to go that direction. The player is 100% to blame for his utterly stupid decision and I’m sorry that you don’t agree. When you do disagree, bare in mind that I am posting this in the unpopular opinions thread. I dont expect the majority to agree with me.

Oz, you’re an utter fool for … haha I joke mate 😛 You have the opinion that I had whilst watching the game. Honestly, it really took the sheen off things for sure, along with the 30 degree heat , the fact that the big screen TV I was watching couldnt display any red at all (really sucked) and it was lashing rain on top of us the entire match.. I wear glasses, so that wasnt fun..
Anyway, I had the opinion and I’ve since changed it my opinion on it, I guess no more need to go further into it..
Cheers HH and ya man, I definitely had no intention of playing a wind up. I’m not going to rub it in someone’s face because I have seen my team lose 2 CL finals. It’s not a great experience. There really aren’t many things for us to talk about, especially Liverpool fans , as we’re not signing anyone. Another good point regards the no club pages. I think it’s Nil who’s reminded of this 99% of the time but this is one of those rare exceptions where we’ve got to consider the community…
As for Nine, ya I think HH was aiming at your attempt to shut the topic down instantly. You posted it right after my initial one. Look, we can leave it at that but there’s something to be learned here.
