I shall rephrase… I shall now leave this THREAD so Micky can continue to talk complete bullocks about Disco Sisiskossko’s ability to see into the future so he can stick his arm up before the ball is crossed for a deliberate and utterly pointless handball (as there wasn’t a Pool player within 20 yards of him)… I’m looking forward to hearing his thoughts on why the earth is flat and who really shot JFK!

Brookside sadly from my point of view was dead and buried early 00s. Used to like a girl on there by the name of Nikki with the Frizzy hair. This was a Powerful Soap drama, but I wouldn’t really afford myself to get too involved in it when it was repeated on Channel 4, just after the Football Results and Central Sports Special.

It was 90210 for me or Gladiators on ITV.

Steveo, I actually believe that was the ground-breaking moment in trying to bring it out into the open. Unlike the awareness raised today and the level of tolerance and acceptance gained, this was more taboo in the 90s.

June after all the Euphoria of the CL triumph just left me feeling full of boredom. Glad that month is gone. Plus, most tournaments for me regardless of the Sport naturally grow more interesting in the latter parts.
