Being released pending further investigations is standard. As I already mentioned in the uk you can be held up to a maximum of 24 hours (without special request) then you are either charged or released. Whether the investigations continue after that depends on the circumstances.
I would imagine the police have a pretty good case or they wouldn’t have dared to arrest the Kings brother just on a whim. But it’s also likely a pretty complex case that needs more time to question him and gather evidence.
What I find sad is that still there is only one person in jail or has been actively investigated that was directly involved in the abuse to the girls and young women. The cover up and protection by the rich and powerful is sickening.

I’ve learned in just days the way individuals working in this industry how quickly they shift their position. I acknowledge the ones that stay positioned like the ones on the left and I know where I’m going to stand with them.
Some of these new age journalists or political commentators do take the biscuit with their nuances, language and agenda.
A big portion of this is click-bait generated as the accessibility of ‘news’ is at the finger tips of somebody’s Phone.
One standout too is the those latching onto the direction of the tide with such one-sidedness. It’s increasingly becoming noticeable regardless of whatever the company, there is very little objectivity.
A man has history of serving his country for 22 years including of which the Falklands and this is how he is treated.
There is yet to be a specification what Andrew has unlawfully committed. The man I feel so far has been shabbily treated.

nil first of all regular media does not work anymore, we know how it is censored, big communities online with the biggest political streamers on youtube are more reliable than anything the BBC, Reuters or who ever publishes. You have independent fact checkers in those communities that will publish their findings, with a direct link to the files and those people are working overtime right now.
like you can look for the keywords “no images” you will find thousands of files, if you change the ending on the url to a .mp4 for example you can see the images. They are buried there, you need to go a couple of hundred pages into the files before you start seeing something but you do so at your own risk. There is stuff you don´t wanna see in there.

Nil what are you on about? Andrew being treated unfairly? He’s suspected of a crime was arrested and released pending further investigations. This gives the police powers to search his property to obtain evidence. Its perfectly normal treatment for anyone suspected of an offence.
I’m not acually bothered about these offences only that they may lead to evidence of others. Then bang him up with the other nonces, and hope it has a snowball affect on to other protected men. And that still wouldn’t be unfair treatment.

The length of time Andrew spent I’d ask whether that was necessary. He was released, and arrested in the first place for ‘misconduct’.
The Media/Press in the Uk have been all over it and have been for days. Various images have been published, but there is no clear specification of what the crime is. What is it?
I feel personally quite bad for him. He’s no Saint, but neither is anybody else. Andrew had his Titles stripped as well as all his other Merits of Achievement. He’s effectively a ‘regular Joe’ trying to get on with his life.
He seems to be the Centre of this whatever it is supposed to be and there surely is an involvement of more than one person and they in turn too if necessary be questioned and taken to task.

He spent 11 hours in custody. That’s pretty normal, and that is coming from experience. Interviews and formslities etc take time. For a complex case he actually was let out earlier than expected.
He was no way treated unfairly in the time at the station.

Rightfully, Andrew should face the consequences if found guilty of whatever has been alleged against him, and that is multiple offences/crimes.
I don’t have any rumoured or factual knowledge Sean, so I predominantly go by on what’s reported. In my eyes, I still see him as a Father to Beatrice and Eugene. Imagine how they must be feeling? Sure he’s not Saint. It’s seems, certain members of the family have washed their hands with him, all his Titles/Memberships stripped, and Fergie no where to be seen. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor – not unusual for him to be in custody for 11 hours. The Police will get an initial account from him in interview and then download and investigate whatever they found at his properties. He hasn’t been mistreated. There’s a long way to go.
I know some guys who served with him in the RN. He’s a typical second son of a Monarch – well-treated, loud-mouthed, cocky, and made the most of his position. In times gone past he would have been married off into Russia or Greece, and we would have never heard of him again. These days we have the media, cameras, and the internet.

I suspect the only reason why he was released after the arrest is that nobody considers him a flight risk, there is nowhere for him to hide under the face of the sun. The only royalty that seems to have escaped this whole affair is the Danish kingdom and it is like Ed states.
These people would have been shipped into a meaningless marriage somewhere nowhere to be heard or seen again back in the day.
This is just my opinion but I´ve always found it a bit weird how people accept a monarch appointed by god to rule over them but then again I am raised by a bunch of pagan on a isolated islands somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
I don´t anyone really realizes how indoctrinated they are into system, even now we have one of the most biggest political scandals ever to happen. There are less than 5000 on this planet that actually verify what is going on instead of reading the news from the guilty party and there are 8.3 billion people on the planet.
Then we have AI that is basically designed to take away our free will or independent thinking.
