What this tournament will do like most tournaments is open up eyes of different players instead of the same ones we see and hear about time and time again.

Admittedly, I don’t really pay attention other than the Premier League, and maybe the odd time, the Championship – Only when Liverpool are playing in the CL do I discover new players.
Once I’m in the Zone, I try and take notice of different players. It doesn’t bother me in particular who they play for, but if they have stood out, it’s Refreshing too see and you sort of have those thoughts of potential moves to your own club.

Very Well Done Wales in reaching the Last 16. Considering a man down and a goal down too, against an Italian side on Fire, that was a good result.
The players are tired and played for each other. Not always easy to maintain focus.

I’m a little confused having looked at the fixtures for the Next Phase and seeing 3rd place. It’s a bit of a poison chalice to finish top. We may as well play to try and finish second and face a team from Group E.

Definitely Nike. We need a draw tomorrow, not a win. Avoid France for now at least and get a far more winnable knock out game under our belt first.

Mike, we’d only get France in the next round (by winning the group) if France come second in theirs. I think it’s more likely we’d get Germany. I wouldn’t really fancy that either but I think we get to play at Wembley in that game, should we win the group.
